Your Opportunity:

The Administrative Support III will support the Neuromodulation Department at the Peter Lougheed Center. Reporting to the unit manager, this position will support the day to day functioning of patients receiving Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) and Ketamine therapy. Duties will include but not limited to office duties, directing patients to appropriate care area, answering calls and redirecting as appropriate, and maintaining the day to day functioning and scheduling of patients and maintaining appointments. The incumbent will be required to possess a strong understanding of the organization, processes and stakeholders. The position will work in an interdisciplinary team and strong collaboration with the supervisor to ensure efficiency of the Department

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must be able to work concurrently on a variety of tasks/projects in an environment that may be stressful with individuals having diverse personalities and work styles. Team player with demonstrated ability to work within a team environment, modeling behaviors that support and contribute positively to team operations and working relationships. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be physically able to perform duties involving standing, sitting, bending, reaching and stretching for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift/push/carry up to 50 lbs. Performs all functions with a high degree of accuracy and maintains or exceeds established productivity standards. An excellent attendance record, reliability and personal suitability must be demonstrated through employment, interview and references. Unit clerk course completion, strog organization and time management skills. Experience using Connect Care and scheduling appointments, Microsoft Office. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Understanding of the Mental Health Act, ECT, rTMS and Ketamine. 1-3 years experience on an acute inpatient psychiatric unit.

Preferred Qualifications:

NVCI, current BLS.
