Your Opportunity:

A key clinical support team member of the Virtual Pain Program, this full-time provincial position is responsible for providing moderately complex secretarial and administrative (day-to-day) support to the Program and is expected to ensure the effective and efficient management of a broad range of responsibilities. Duties includes, but are not limited to: clerical tasks within Connect Care; patient scheduling, communication and support; payroll; staff and meeting scheduling; word processing; data entry; recording meeting minutes; invoice and travel expense processing; management and staff support; records management; ordering IT and office equipment, and maintaining communication channels with staff and health care providers as required.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Post secondary education is required (degree, certificate, or diploma) plus a minimum four years' progressively responsible related experience is required. Experience equivalents will be considered. Minimum of 2 years (within the last 5 years) of advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, as well as Zoom. Excellent written and oral communication. Professional and positive manner with excellent customer service skills, particularly email and telephone-based experience. Well-developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Able to deal effectively with conflict. Ability to support job functions for multiple team members concurrently. Able to work independently within a team environment. Demonstrate good organizational and time management skills. Demonstrate ability to adapt to new or unexpected situations, flexibility in approach to interpersonal situations. Able to identify process gaps and inefficiencies and provide quality improvement solutions. Detail-oriented and ability to work with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to complete appointment booking, scheduling, and client registration. Proficiency with Connect Care, including experience with schegistrar, clinic referrals, template builder, and patient access. Experience with payroll and invoicing.
