Administrative Support IV
Your Opportunity:
An opportunity to support a multidisciplinary team in adult outpatient Addiction and Mental Health is available at South Health Campus and South Calgary Health Centre. Reporting to the lead administration with accountabilities to the manager, the casual administrative support IV will act as the center of communication for the Community Addiction and Mental Health Clinic (CAMHC – SHC/SCHC), SHC Urgent Psychiatric Consult Clinic, SHC Day Hospital and SCHC Urgent Mental Health and Single Session. They will be providing clerical/organizational support for the clinic(s); which includes but not limited to: greeting clients and answering calls in a warm engaging manner to ensure their experience is positive, completing registration and check-in tasks in Connect Care, scheduling clinic appointments for multiple resources, data entry, and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. This individual will handle all information in a confidential manner.

Additional Required Qualifications:Grade 12 or recognized equivalent. 1-2 years’ experience in an Addiction and Mental Health Adult Outpatient Clinic setting (front-facing). Trained and proficient in Connect Care Ambulatory Clerk/Schegistrar role. Equivalent typing speed of 60/wpm. Knowledge and operation of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team setting and be self-directed, innovative and able to work in a fast-paced environment. An understanding and sensitivity to the confidential nature of the information received and communicated is required.
