Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Charge Nurse Experience required. N95 Fit testing. Successful completion of the orientation program and medication exam is required. Must have excellent assessment, critical thinking, organization and patient care skills. Must be self-directed and have the ability to work independently and using sound professional judgment. Must be able to communicate findings in a concise and accurate manner. Working closely with management and leadership. Policy work will be required.
Preferred Qualifications:Working within a Correctional facility environment, acute care facility or psychiatric program experience preferred. Staffing experience/delegating work an asset.
