Based out of the Vulcan Health Centre, this position is ideal for a self-motivated individual who values clinical autonomy while also appreciating the connection and support of a team environment. The Family Counsellor will manage their own caseload, provide high-quality, client-centered care, and maintain timely documentation. Our clinic offers a strong referral network, administrative support, ongoing supportive supervision and consultation, and opportunities for professional growth. We are looking for someone who is registered and in good standing, committed to ethical practice, open to feedback, and eager to contribute to a positive, collaborative culture while maintaining independence in their clinical work.

Description:

As a Family Counsellor, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up to clients and their families. You will also provide clinical focused consultation with other programs or community resources and acts as a liaison to develop and promote preventative health programs in the community. You will collaborate with other health care providers and community service providers to ensure a continuum of care in the community.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Masters in nursing, social work, psychology. Registered with a regulatory college.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in rural settings.
