Completion of master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.
Additional Required Qualifications:Registration in relevant professional association recognized by Alberta’s Health Profession Act (e.g. ACSW, College of Alberta Psychologists). Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience and excellence in family, group and individual therapy in a mental health/psychiatric setting; preferably with adolescents and young adults coping with an eating disorder. Experience working collaboratively in the provision of a full range of services, from promotion and prevention to treatment and restoration, preferably as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Experience in family therapy and family assessment. Familiarity with use of reflecting teams. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Creative, flexible, collaborative systems thinker. Knowledge about evaluation strategies and outcome research. Strong computer skills. Strong family therapy skills essential.
Preferred Qualifications:Patients with Eating Disorder experience is an asset. Advanced Family Therapy skills is an asset. Extensive Group Therapy skills is an asset. Experience managing a large case list is an asset. Experience with case management is an asset.
