Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Successful candidates will demonstrate advanced clinical expertise and a strong ability to translate evidence-based practices into practical education for nursing and interdisciplinary teams. Required qualifications include experience in developing and delivering training programs, mentoring staff, and supporting competency development in high-acuity or specialized care settings. Candidates should possess excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, along with the ability to foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:Preferred qualifications include experience in mental health and addiction services, experience working with youth and families, knowledge of trauma-informed and culturally safe care principles, and familiarity with provincial legislation related Mental Health and Substance Use Treatment. A proven ability to implement quality improvement initiatives and adapt education strategies to meet diverse learning needs is highly valued.
