Licensed Practical Nurse
Your Opportunity:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Community InReach, you would be providing care to individuals residing within Hope Mission homeless shelter. You will be utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level to administer prescribed medications, complete assessments, liaise with local physicians and pharmacies, and respond to medical emergencies such as opioid poisoning prior to EMS arrival.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and Recovery Alberta policies and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of Recovery Alberta.

Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
