Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Connect Care training, specifically Therapy Plans. Procedural sedation courses. Proficiency with airway management post sedation and/or general anesthesia. IV initiation certification & IV medication administration course.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Airway Management. Previous experience with procedural sedation or recovery room experience would be an asset. Minimum of two years’ experience working in Mental Health.
