Required Qualifications:

To be eligible for this position, you must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant regulated health profession and hold current registration with the applicable professional regulatory college. A minimum of five years of recent and relevant clinical, supervisory, and/or leadership experience within Mental Health and Addiction is required. Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of recovery-oriented care and a proven ability to lead complex stakeholder and community engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will have experience in a management and/or supervisory role, with demonstrated leadership capabilities in guiding interdisciplinary teams, managing change, and supporting staff development. Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential, along with the ability to foster collaboration, drive operational excellence, and support the delivery of high-quality, client- and family-centred services.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality, client- and family-centred care and services, including experience supporting individuals with complex needs in community, rural, and remote settings. Proven experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation, with a commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence. Strong ability to collaborate with a broad range of internal and external partners to support integrated and coordinated care. Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding frontline staff through complex client care issues, supporting clinical decision-making, and fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth. Experience addressing staffing and performance concerns while promoting employee development and clinical excellence is essential. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills are required, including the ability to effectively engage stakeholders and resolve conflict. Demonstrated knowledge of change management principles and experience leading and sustaining organizational change initiatives. Proven financial and operational management skills, including budget planning, forecasting, financial reporting, and responsible resource allocation to support program and organizational objectives.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience bed-based addiction treatment services in a clinical or leadership role. Change management and project management training are an asset. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience leading teams in dynamic healthcare environments and working effectively with diverse partners and stakeholders is considered an asset.
