Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program, with a minimum of a Master's degree. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar, including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

You know, understand and help educate others that Addiction is a treatable disease and that there is hope. You know the value of treating these illnesses as they do not discriminate and cross into all services, specialties and care areas. Clinical experience or additional training in addiction/mental health/inner city health and/or vulnerable populations is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:We have amazing NP's and Physicians to help you learn and grow. Connect Care experience an asset. Understanding of Recovery Model of Care and Harm Reduction. Working knowledge of the Stages of Change and concurrent d/o's. Advocacy and health promotion are both central to this team and are 2 reasons that you pursued your NP training.
