Completion of Grade 12. A combination of education and experience satisfactory to the employer will also be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Has completed Grade 12. Has completed Mental Health First Aid training. Has current BLS certification via Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Preferred Qualifications:Have some post-secondary education in social sciences, psychology or health services. Have a Personal Support Aide, Health Care Aide or Mental Health Aide Certificate (equivalencies may be considered). Have 2 years’ experience working with persons with an addiction and/or mental health issue – preferably in a hospital setting. Computer skills (Connect Care)
