Completion of Grade 12. A combination of education and experience satisfactory to the employer will also be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent experience in Addictions and Mental Health. Sound observation and strong verbal communication skills. Positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in an Acute Psychiatry setting. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changes in daily schedule and patient needs. Working knowledge of patient and family-centered care principles is important.
Preferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of the CoACT model of care. Working knowledge of trauma informed care.
