Completion of doctoral degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years working within Adult Addiction and Mental Health. Demonstrated understanding of all Addiction and Mental Health Calgary Zone programs and Outpatient Service Re-design standards/required framework. Demonstrated proficiency with individual and family therapy. Demonstrated ability to manage a case list and work within tight timeframes. Demonstrated ability to work on a team. Proficiency with both CBT and DBT therapy modalities. Demonstrated time management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:Additional training in Cognitive and Personality Assessments (i.e., MCCB) considered an asset. Experience with Adolescents/Emerging Adult population considered an asset.
