Completion of bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation and Leisure Studies. Active or eligible registration with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience in service area being recruited for and any related pathologies is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:Basic Life Support (BLS), Health Care Provider – Level C Basic Life Support (CPR) Class 5 driver's license or non GDL. Valid class 4 driver’s license if required to transport patients in AHS vehicle. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training. Safe Food Handling Certificate Alberta Fitness Leadership Certification Association (AFLCA) or equivalency. First Aid Supportive Pathways National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) is an asset.
