Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required. Current CRNA/CRPNA registration required. Minimum of five years of acute inpatient mental health experience required. Demonstrated skills in analytical thinking, organization, planning, teaching, decision making, and financial management. Proven leadership or clinical supervision experience with healthcare professionals. Ability to perform effectively in fast paced and dynamic environments. Strong conflict resolution abilities and demonstrated capacity as a change agent. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Comprehensive understanding of the Addiction and Mental Health continuum of care. Knowledge of evidence based psychosocial interventions, including group therapy. Familiarity with community resources related to Addiction and Mental Health. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet timelines in evolving environments.
Additional Required Qualifications:Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and manage both short and long term initiatives. Capacity to foster effective partnerships and negotiate change with creativity, diplomacy, and innovation. Ability to lead a complex multidisciplinary department with diverse goals and initiatives. Competence in managing human, financial, and physical resources within a unionized environment. Understanding of system wide interdependencies across the health care system, the Addiction and Mental Health portfolio, and stakeholder partners.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with staff scheduling systems, including WFM. Experience in a leadership role. Knowledge and experience with Connect Care. Commitment to continuing professional development. Experience in Community Mental Health.
