Completion of an accredited Psychiatric nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA) or College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). A minimum of 2 years clinical experience in psychiatric, mental health or forensic nursing settings and a working knowledge of the DSMV is required. Certification in Suicide Prevention and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention is also required.
Preferred Qualifications:Preference will be given to candidates with experience providing nursing care to an adolescent population.
